MARKETING DEVELOPMENT PARTNER

Supervise the Sales and distribution officers, sales assistants and delivery riders to ensure they close sales, collected revenue, bank on time and carry out daily reconciliations; managing key accounts to generate revenue, monitoring competitors’ sales activities, analyzing industry trends to identify ways to improve revenue performance and generate monthly sales reports.

The position reports to The Sales and Distribution Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of sales and distribution officers and sales assistants in efficient sales executions.
  2. Understand and effectively implement Hill group sales processes and responds to technical questions from clients and foster positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Meet sales assigned targets for all HILL GROUP products in the assigned territories by identifying potential prospects through networking, preparation of sales plans and customer referrals.
  4. Carry out regular market dipstick surveys in collaboration with the Sales and Distribution Manager on competitors' products and services, pricing, and market success to gain current insight into customer preferences.
  5. Cultivating solid relationships with key customers and general trade customers to ensure a continuous flow of revenue.
  6. Management of Debt and collecting payments from customers as per the credit policy.
  7. Maintaining accurate records of the total sales made monthly and integrate and align sales plans for assigned customers
  8. Develop profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current and potential customers within assigned sales region
  9. Manage and interpret customer requirements and ensure high customer satisfaction ratings – speaking with clients to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
  10. Identify, investigate, track and resolve customer concerns or complaints and recommend a course of action on how to avoid recurrence
  11. Expand market awareness of all Hill products and experience by communicating features and benefits of Hill products and services effectively
  12. Maintain accurate and adequate customers and sales records of customers.
  13. Attend and participate in trade activations, conferences and other marketing events

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business |Commerce and higher Diploma in Sales and Marketing:
  2. Training in Data Analytics
  3. Proficiency in Ms Office
  4. Valid driving license and skills
  5. Teamwork dynamic skills
  6. problem-solving
  7. Excellent Negotiation
  8. Knowledge of Current Consumer Behavior.
  9. 5 Years - Experience in Business-to-Business sales in a fast-paced FMCG industry in Tanzania
